Reason to be cheerful

If ever there was a reason to pop up again on Blipfoto, this has to be it. I had a phone consultation with my GP on Tuesday. When we'd dealt with my immediate concerns I asked about vaccination. "Hhhmmm … I think you're down for this week. Just a sec. Yes. I have a slot at 9:30 on Thursday, subject to deliveries and so on. We'll be in touch, hopefully to confirm."

I got the confirming text last night and got my first jab (Pfizer/BioNTech) this morning as scheduled. I'll return for the second one in four weeks. Who would have thought that getting an injection would leave you with a smile on your face?
