Over to the Dark Side!

There are times when i regret trying to 'fix' a painting!   this was at a place where i liked it - a lot...but felt that something wasn't quite right, so i kept noodling!!!   Big mistake...it got to a place where it was basically gone!   So what to do....well once again the need to destroy what isn't working to start again took over.    So i got radical in the extreme....well actually i just went for the opposite of where it was!    Dark prussian blue and paynes grey.....then i can scrape thro to the lights, and hopefully in the next day or 2 i'll find something that i'm happy with.

But i also discovered a whole new way to play with paint!   Venetian Plaster, on these 12" x 12" boards...then add colour and move the paint around!   Very satisfying, but not done yet!!!
