Caged

A few anemones are hanging on amongst the snakes's-head fritillaries, & the latter are spreading well, though last year they were decimated by the rabbits. Hopefully our improvised cage, though unsightly, will allow the plants to continue to flourish - the fritillary flowers will be Blip-worthy!

The idea of combining the two plants in a shady spot came from a local "Open garden" - in fact I bought the original plants from there. The fritillaries seem to like the spot, the anemones are less happy.
