Rimac management plan

The willows planted some decades ago (presumably to help reduce the water level in the marshy nature reserve) are now being cut back - you may see the stumps - to help attract, for example, water voles. 

Beyond the sea buckthorn growing in the sand dunes on the eastern horizon lies an extensive salt marsh, a sandy beach and the North Sea.
