My mini pond

John picked up this belfast sink from a building site years ago. It was heading for the skip so he salvaged it. We hoped to use it in the kitchen but we couldn't afford a quartz worktop and were told we couldn't have this sink with the laminate worktop, so now it is going to be my natute pond. I dug it in a few weeks ago and today I planted a couple of new shrubs nearby. I plan to grass around it soon but think I will need another shrub nearby to give more protection. Hopefully it will attract frogs but they will need some better cover from plants to keep the birds off them. I'll get some pond weed too. The ramp is there incase a hedgehog or something falls in and needs some help climbing out.
