It had to be something rain themed today. It's been shocking. 18,000 people were evacuated yesterday. A whole house went floating down a river. Other houses have been totally flooded leaving furniture and kitchen appliances, including fridges, stoves and washing machines to be washed downstream. It's difficult to get insurance for floods. On top of businesses going bust with covid and bushfires a little over a year ago.

The rain stopped this afternoon and tomorrow will be sunny but rivers will remain swollen. I took the extra in the back yard, showing some light.
