My Hubert bun

We had Hubert out in the garden today with Q, Arfur and Lafawnda. They had a lovely time in the sunshine, nibbling the new grass and dandelions. We thought we’d make the most of the beautiful weather and give Hubert a really terrific day. Unfortunately his chemotherapy was not successful and his tumour has continued to grow and spread. The main tumour is now showing signs of breaking down and we feel that it would not be right for him to go on with it as it will only continue to get worse. We are thankful that he is not in pain, he is still enjoying his food, treats and cuddles. As awful as it is for us, we have made the decision to take him to see our vet tomorrow. I can’t bear the thought of not having him with us, he’s eight and a half and we’ve had him since he was eight weeks old, he’s my sweet wee man. I also can’t bear the thought of him suffering, and I think that’s what will happen if we keep him going.
