Town Gardens

Another ok night.....woke a couple of times, awake properly just on half eight. Ususal routine followed, breakfast, showers etc.

Coffees in thr car, then walk for me. Our town has a "friends of" group who look after communal areas, including these memorial gardens....they always look nice, the daffs are not quite open yet! When I got back, hub had been chatting to his sis a while.

Back home for lunch.....we opened up the summerhouse, hub settled down in there, wih his Sunday paper....and a little glass of red wine ;-) whilst I made his lunch, a cheese and ham toastie......I finished off the last of the vegetable biryani ......:-/

Next job was to give both lawns their first cut of the year! It had got quite long but enabled me to put stripes in it....looks so much better now. Cut the front too......green bin at least half full already. Got plenty of steps in whilst doing that job too.

Prepped dinner, roast chicken, carrots, broccoli, courgettes, roast potatoes & gravy, ready to go........before going out to finish off my steps for the day, making sure I got back in time to watch my team on tv, least said about that the better :-( poor performance saw Leicester beat us easily, so no FA cup semi for us. Hubs team face Leicester next.

Just short of 13k steps today, making a total of 249,250 steps (123 miles) so far. Im glad I have 30k steps in the bank just in case the next four days hospital appointments impact on my ability to get enough done on the day.

Watched The Voice Final tonight, really pleased with the winner, I like him! Just watched thr first episode of Line of Duty...... promising start!!!
