A Snapshot of Chapel A. Census 2021
A candid shot of the Coffee queue today in Chapel Allerton.
The Extra is of our Neighbours who we met in the ginnel.
I worked on the 1991 Census as an Enumerator here in Leeds. In 1997 I joined ONS as a Social Survey Interviewer, mainly working on the Labour Force Survey (LFS). It was a unique job were each week I called at randomly selected address in Cities, Suburbs, Towns and Villages across Yorkshire. I met and interviewed thousands of Households over the years, it gave me a wonderful insight into different places and communities that I would, otherwise, have never known . And what a privilege it was to spend time with people in their homes (although not everyone was welcoming); oh the stories I could tell.
