Heavenly

It’s been an al fresco day for me today. There was a certain reluctance to get out of bed but once my feet touched the floor it got better. I had a 10 mile cycle run before breakfast leaving me with feet and hands I couldn’t feel they were so cold.
Later an outside coffee with 2 people from another household, socially distanced of course gave me much needed social contact.
An added bonus was that David and Luca passed by briefly in the afternoon and we managed to sit in the sun to chat.

The detritus from yesterday’s gathering of the masses was not picked up by the bin men this morning and I was quite pleased thinking that today’s hordes would have to sit amongst their own rubbish. However the Friends of the Meadows came out in force and personally picked everything up . Unfortunately, the bins are all overflowing already, so there is nowhere for today’s rubbish to go .
