Squeeze Guts Alley
For the first time since Christmas we ventured into Truro, bit of a difference, whereas Falmouth is busy, full of hustle & bustle, Truro is virtually deserted.
We got what we went for and I took the opportunity to get to one of 2021’s visit list.

Squeeze Guts Alley is a slightly hidden gem that does exactly what it says on the sign. If you are a person of large girth or broad shouldered there is every chance you'd definitely get your guts squeezed passing through the narrow ope, which runs between Duke Street and St Mary's Street. It is said that you are not a true Truronian if you haven't had more than your guts squeezed down the alley.

Clare and I went through, it’s deceptive, entering from Duke Street it looks ok but then dog legs right and becomes narrow.
