Ducks

Today was flat calm after blustering winds for the previous 24 hours. A large group of ducks came near the shore, dipping and diving and generally frolicking about. Along with the geese it was quite a cacophony. But, they are timid and would not tolerate my presence.

As can be seen by the colour of the water, skies were blue and the sun was shining. Although very little is growing yet, there is a spring feeling in the air.
