Dusk over Coombs Wood

Near Armathwaite and above the River Eden it is a place to walk, rockclimb, canoe and fish. A lovely wood with a rock sculpture in it, some ancient engravings - 'The Faces' and an excellent hostelry - ' The Fox and Pheasant' at the far end of the wood. Despite all this it is relatively quiet. Oh and if you look around you will glimpse red squirrels and groups of deer.
