Peaceful walk .
After a worrying evening last night ( when everything seemed to get to me) it was good to see the sun shine this morning.
Fletch seemed much better and I am keeping my fingers crossed for my niece who is about to start chemo...again.
We drove along the coast road to Sea wood which was empty of people and the only sound was birdsong. So therapeutic!
We strolled and let Fletch pootle about sniffing and enjoying the freedom of being off lead.
It is an old woodland going back centuries and a lot of the trees are old.. some well past their 'sell by date ' and quite a few have fallen in the last few months. The trees are still bare but there are lots of bluebell leaves and ransom leaves ( wild garlic) .
Today the only flowers I found were the last of the crocuses and a few natural daffodils ( ie not the hybrid bright coloured ones) see extra
A lovely relaxing afternoon. Just what I needed
Take care everyone. Stay safe.
