I went out for a 6 km run before starting work and a 3.5 km walk at lunchtime in the sunshine.

The first lambs of the season have appeared in the field just down the lane from home. One ewe had a single lamb. Another had twins. This lamb and  its mother ewe had both been marked with a green number "1".

I went back early evening but the lambs and mother ewes had been removed - presumably to safe quarters overnight. Just as well as a big fox (see extra - caught on the garden CCTV) has been prowling around in the early hours.
