Return To The First

For today's image I returned to the sight of my very first blip - an old warehouse in my home village of Aylesford. I was a bit sad to notice that the lower half of the warehouse has now been stripped away - including the old characterful window and the blue door that was in my very first image. The warehouse is currently open to the elements on three sides so I was able to get this photo looking up into the roof. 

I now have an appointment for my first covid vaccination on Friday. It was a bit odd because my brother had been notified by text, my sister had been notified by text and a letter but I had received nothing at all. I contacted my local surgery by e-mail and they rang straight back to confirm they did not have my mobile number so had just assumed I would be contacted at some point. Thankfully they said they would now arrange the appointment on my behalf. It feels like we are part way to some kind of freedom from the current restrictions, which is great news!
