"Are you looking at me?"
This morning was the regular festival committee meeting. Arth behaved very well but was a bit creaky and painful after being in much the same position all morning. After lunch and some stretches I went for a short walk in the village.
More opportunities for the "One Street" project. This neighbourhood cat had chosen to sit on a car bonnet which I'm sure was still warm. The watery sun and the winter jasmine provided a nice backdrop.
The festival bookings are going very well, although we would like a few more people for the mid week walks. We had yet another person volunteering to help with the next festival. The new volunteers are essential to the future of our festivals and we are always delighted when they come along, unprompted and enthusiastic.
Did you know that you can now order ordnance survey maps centred on a grid reference of your choice? We now have one for Haltwhistle Walking Festival and it will be displayed in our 10th birthday exhibition in May. All very exciting.
PS Thanks for all the kind comments about yesterday's mirror image.
