"One Street" and Me
It's been a very grey day. I've read and done some photo editing.
This afternoon, suffering from cabin fever, I went for a walk in the village. I was looking for another image for the "One Street" series which a few of us are doing on Blip. Once you know you have to come up with something, the mind concentrates!
Here is the safety mirror for cars leaving the vicarage drive. The church, St Peter's, is one of the Greenwich Hospital churches. They were built in this area to more or less identical plans at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th centuries. Naval chaplains were retired to these benefices. Some did not cope with the isolation of the very rural area at all well.
Oh yes, there's a self portrait snuck in there too! You don't see one of those very often.
