Spotted while I took a walk en route to get the paper while the Young One was at her art class in Irvine. The bird was having a good old clean and a scratch at the time I walked past this stretch of the harbourside.

This is the first time I've tried using the zoom on my new camera for a bit of wildlife observation. I was surprised at the clarity, but need to find out how to tinker with the ISO etc.
