Magnolia

I went for a walk with Pauline today in Hilliers Gardens, hoping to see the magnolias in flower. Sadly, most of them are not in flower yet. There was only one tree in flower and we couldn’t get very close to it as there was some building work going on and the path was closed off. I came home to see that my neighbours magnolia is in flower. It spreads over to our front garden so I was able to take this photo standing in my garden. Despite the lack of magnolias we had a lovely time there and had a sandwich and drink sat outside in the sun.
