A bit of graffiti from Southampton common to brighten up a dull Sunday and the diet of depressing news about coronavirus. People being forced to take unpaid leave from jobs, people over 70 being isolated at home for months and the prospect of loss of life on a significant scale. The mind boggles. My resolution is to buy only the food I need immediately and not to buy into this general panic in supermarkets.
