Monkey puzzle tree

The village arboretum has over 2000 trees, 700 of them labelled, most of which are in the park. This one, which I rather like, is up by the Mairie so I snapped it this morning. I spent some time researching walks in the area after a friend sent me a very comprehensive list from various web sites. He has been our walk leader for several years but a deteriorating condition will mean his walking will now be restricted.  It is good that he is passing on his accumulated local knowledge and resources. Yin yoga was enjoyable in the morning as was our afternoon French conversation group.
