Solitary Pony

Mothers' Day today, so a fairly chilled day with Mum, enjoying sumptuous food and flowers, chocolates and a doorstep visit from my son and little granddaughters. 

I went for a walk late afternoon, watching horses, buzzards and deer in the nearby fields. These fields are in the Green Belt but there is the very real threat of 400 new houses being built on them......

Happy Mothers' Day to all you mums out there - and my thoughts are also with those of you for whom today is a difficult one for whatever reason.
