My office building

It's been exactly a year since I last set foot inside 550 S. 4th Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota. My team were all given laptops and the new adventure of remote work due to the pandemic. 

The entry doors are all boarded up, as well as the street level windows to protect them from potential damage during the Derek Chauvin trial for the killing of George Floyd. The courthouse is a block away, surrounded by fencing with barbed wire and concrete barriers. I didn't take a photo, I was sitting opposite my office drinking coffee from the Starbucks that's shown up in my night shot photos, with my friend Coreen. We were celebrating the completion of my counseling internship today. A lot has changed in a year, and life is getting better on Planet Earth slowly, but surely.
