Frightened Feline

Have you ever seen a cat look more startled?! Couldn't resist snapping a pic, loved the light through it's ears and it's black tail and face...
A  s u p e r  c h i l l e d  morning that became afternoon. We headed to a couple of parks and had Happy Meals for lunch. An afternoon of painting with the kids...and then tea in front of Wallace and Gromit. Very lovely. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Relaxed mornings where everyone's feeling the same.
2) Watching the kids play with another set of siblings in the park. 
3) Seeing a guy from Sa Penya (for those who know the name, Tchani's brother, Kike) in town - he called Asha and me over and nattered for quite a while. Just so lovely. Loved that he dropped a kiss on Asha's head too.

Quote of the day; after finishing his painting, Nate declaring with flourish 'bon apetit!' I'm both impressed and dismayed by his French, ha!
