Smart Watch

Thank you for all your kind thoughts and concern.

I should have mentioned this in my blip yesterday.  I wouldn't want anyone to think my family isn't watching (hehehe) out for me.  This is the smart watch my son bought for me.  It keeps track of a lot more than the time.  I had a "controlled descent" a month or so ago.  It wasn't really a fall but I ended up on the floor.  Believe it or not, I just sort of slid off the edge of my bed while tying my shoe.   Anyway, while I was sitting on the floor contemplating the situation the watch beeped and said "it looks like you've fallen.  Do you need help?"  The watch was very quick to come to my aid but I didn't need help so I thanked it and pushed the option that said I was okay. The secret to the watch's success of course is that one has to be wearing it which I wasn't doing yesterday.  I'm sure it would have been very responsive had it been on my wrist instead of its charger.
My son has also bought me a blood pressure cuff which sends its readings to my phone where my cardiologist can read them when I visit him.

Ahhh, the trappings of old age.
