The Old Fish House

Today's the day ........................ for a sign

This name-plate on an old cottage down at the harbour in Kirkcudbright caught my eye today.

Apparently, The Old Fish House was built around the turn of the last century, and was previously owned by the River Dee Salmon Fisheries.  It was used for the repair and storage of their nets and equipment.

Nowadays, it's an airBnB property in which you could come and spend a very pleasant few days.  Or, at least, one of these days - hopefully not too far away now - you could ......................!
