Kirkcudbright Harbour

Today's the day ……………………… to overflow

It was a very high tide in Kirkcudbright this afternoon.

The water came right over the harbour wall and flooded the quayside to a depth of a foot or so.  Anyone coming down that gangplank wanting to get ashore would either have had to have big waders - or a pair of swimming trunks.

But thankfully before long, the tide was on the turn and everything went back to normal again …………………...
