Furry flower Friday
A better nights sleep, woke 2/3 times but felt better this morning....hub said he had a similar night.... the last couple of nights hes not felt quite as good once jean has been turned off, but we think it might be the start of hayfever season, feeling blocked and a bit snuffly. so might be time to start the old antihistamines!
Temperature is fine. We had a cuppa in bed this morning before getting up proper.
By the time I got downstairs hub was sat at the dining table putting together the outside edges of our new jigsaw. As soon as Id finished off in the kitchen we skiddadled for our elevenses ;-) After amhalf hour sat chatting in the car sipping our coffees, I went off for my first walk of the day, leaving hub to people watch a while....and no doubt chat to daughter at some point.I called into the butchers and the bakery on my way back to the car and sure enough there they were chatting as I climbed back into the drivers seat ;-)
We had a chat about what we wanted to do for lunch, hub eventually settled on KFC, so a little teip to the drive thru. I had my usual twister wrap, really nice, hub had a boneless meal. We ate it ehilst it was hot, sat in the car on the retail car park :-/ but at least it was bright and sunny, still pretty windy though!
Back home early afternoon.....hub settled down to watch the cricket. I had a quick word with our neighbours, they have had a skip delivered, asked if I could put a few chunky branches on the top if they had room, which they did and he kindly helped me bring them around from our back to the skip :-)
Whilst I was out in the garden, I noticed that todays blip, this bright cerise anemone, had opened up in the sunshine. I like the furry underside of its petals :-) and perfect for Flower Friday too.
The afternoon has been prety sunny, so I decided to get out again to top off my steps for the day.......currently at just over 11k, as you can see in extras, excuse the confetti effect lol! Big thanks to another two blippers for their kind donations yesterday. The link below will take you to my Just Giving page if you would like to support me....Ive only got another 19 days to go lol!!

The cricket was over, England had won, by the time I got back, hub was putting the finishing touches to the whole outside of the puzzle!
Dinner tonight has been bbq spare ribs, golden rice with mixed veg, followed by blackcurrant pie & custard :-0
We are currently watching the golf, Westwood is playing a blinder at the moment, as is Fitzpatrick.......and if either of those can't win, then come on Sergio!!!
A little tipple this evening for both of us too,
a wee drop of the amber nectar with ice & dry ginger for a change, hub is enjoying it :-)
Hubs felt better than he has for the last couple of days......a bit tired, nothing he can put his finger on exactly, so hopefully its nothing to worry about and will pass. Keeping our eye on things obviously.
Another weekend is upon us all, hope you enjoy it, stay safe and well.
