Queens Park pigeons
A mildly eventful day on account of the bathroom door self-locking and not responding to the usual tactics involving credit cards, a blunt knife and a paper clip. Finally got a locksmith who at great cost (although I negotiated him down by 25%) released it and advised us not to use the lock again because ‘the spindle’ was too short for purpose.
This was after a trip to the post office (successful eBay sale) and a walk around Queens Park where I got soaked. Perhaps because of the rain the pigeons were roosting at the top of the trees and made rather an interesting pattern which is today’s blip.
Notwithstanding a rise in COVID cases the lockdown has eased slightly. The Ramblers (which I joined today) have started organised walks again, although the options are fairly limited and you must stay within your local authority area, the rule about being able to travel up to 5 miles beyond your LA area does not apply under these circumstances.
