Factory Girls, Salford Quays

One of several fascinating sculptures around the Salford area, taken before we set off for home this morning. As you walk along the quayside, you pass a series of plaques with facts and quotes about the history of the area and I found this sculpture wistful, nostalgic and strangely moving.

We had a great weekend and I took loads of photos, including these two backblips,yesterday's from Old Trafford and the one I was most pleased with from Friday night

Salford's not such a Dirty Old Town these days.
