Vaccine + A Little Love

I had my first Covid vaccine today.  At least I think I did -- I never even felt the needle.  After watching so many people get shots on the news, etc., I figured I'd definitely feel it, but no.  I've got a band-aid and some paperwork, plus an appointment for the second shot, so I think I'm good to go.

The entire operation, beginning with parking the car was an amazing example of coordination and efficiency.  Every single person who was there to make it all work was cheerful, polite, and helpful.  And then, to top it all off, they added a touch of canine love named Tessie to walk among us while we were waiting the obligatory 15 minutes post-shot to see if we had any adverse reactions.

I am beyond impressed at what people can do when tasked with a difficult situation.  It was all part of my doctor's/hospital health group but they had to convert an unused facility to accommodate the number of people getting shots. I'm very grateful that better minds than mine were responsible for figuring out what needed to be done and how to do it.
