The dropped stitch

By Bodkin

from a wet, windy beach

It was a bright, breezy morning, so I left for work leaving two loads of washing all pegged out to dry.

By the end of the day the wind was picking up and rain set in.
Luckily I texted a 'washing alert' as soon as the sky darkened in Kirkwall, and M saved the day. There is something very depressing about returning to a line of clothes that are twice as wet as when you put them on the line.

I stopped on the way home to get a photo to blip: looking across to Northfield Farm, Burray.
