Convolvulus
A splash of purple between 2 gums. This is on the banks of the Brownhill Creek at Mitcham. The plant is a rampant, noxious weed called Convolvulus. It is a flowering plant in the bindweed family.
It gradually spreads over everything in its path, a bit like a non steroid version of Kudzu.
