Laundry blues

Instead of merely inventing a stain remover for washing, can't someone be really useful and invent a product that just makes the washing completely disappear?

I've tried a spell Harry Potter might have used. "Evanescant laverint!", but sadly the pile of washing is still with me. Maybe my wand needs new batteries.
