Battening down

In order to protect the grass seed from the local pigeons and from the anticipated rain, we have laid out some protective fleece. The anchor points felt light and so it proved this evening as the heavy rain and gusts of wind required us to lay out bags of sand and compost.

Makes it now look less delicate a layout but needs must. The forecast for the next 48 hours will test what we’ve done .
