King Of The Fishers
A halcyon day for photography. I shot my first long-tailed-tit of 2021 with a feather in its beak. I heard their tep, tep nest building call before I spotted the pair. I also got a nice characterful pic of a white donkey. (Extras)
At Fishers Green I captured the male kingfisher (he isn't wearing lipstick) from the busy path by the river. These birds seem to be very bold at this time of year. I photographed one here in a similar position in early March in 2020.
I heard a mischief of magpies making a racket and was surprised to see that the cause was a mink. (Extras). The only other mink pic that I have managed was on this stretch of river a few years ago.
