53 starlings and counting

There was a flock of starlings around and a grackle was hanging out with them. Yesterday there was a redwing blackbird. Unfortunately no really interesting birds were photographed today. 
We did go poking around a birding spot that we haven't been to before and the pond had wigeons and a few mallards and black ducks. They were too far away to get any photos of though and to see what they were required the spotter scope. While we were fiddling with that a pair of bald eagles flew over . And the camera was looked over my arm and the lens cap was still on. But it was still great to see. 
No more hawk sightings here today but at dusk not one , but 2 gray foxes ran through the yard. It must be spring.
