The predominant colour of early spring wild flowers is yellow. These are some of the flowers which I have seen in the last four days when I noticed the first primrose, celandine and coltsfoot.      Clockwise the flowers are primrose. hazel catkin with a tiny female red flower, dandelion, coltsfoot, gorse, alder catkin, celandine and winter aconite.
