Winter garden

This is (part) of the area that we call our "Winter garden". I worked on this section today (maybe 1/4 of the entire border). In here, we have two types of dogwood, some winter jasmine, viburnum, laurels, clematis and some hellebores. my task for today was to give it a good mulching with horse manure. Lovely job :-)

Guess who's going for an early bath?

My plan is to sow hundreds of flowers in here this year. Last year, we collected tons of seeds from all the gardens we visited. I plan to sow several types of Rudbeckias in this section.
