Robin

Started doing some maintenance on the road bike, which has a dodgy left shifter. Might take some time to fix  Cleaned up the other bike and pumped up the tyres for a ride later in the day.

After lunch, partner and I head along the bridle way, then down to the hermitage and skirting around Blackford Hall. On the path heading back to the Hermitage, we come across this robin fiercely protecting his territory against all-comers. The main road through the Hermitage is busy with walkers, but wide enough to pass safely.

I manage a short 15 and a bit mile (24.9km) bike ride after coffee. A short ride, but only because riding in the wind is getting a bit annoying.
