Rainbow and the Castle
A nice but breezy day off work starts with a morning ride to Roslin and back. The cycle path is quite busy as the weather is quite nice. As a result the ride is quite slow.
After lunch, I go up to the café and order the Italian inspired tea for all of us as it is my partner's birthday. Then, my partner and I go up to the Braid Hills. There are rain showers heading east along the Forth, each with a rainbow. The blip shows the photo with the best rainbow near Edinburgh Castle. We carry on east to Mortonhall, and walk back along the path to Braid Rd.
At half five, I collect the delicious tea. It consists of bruschetta, panini, insalata and three types of formaggio italiano plus a selection of dolce. The main tea is washed down with a lovely rose wine, with coffee to accompany the dessert.
