Fur seal and pup

Marvellous sight of hundreds of New Zealand fur seals basking on the rocks  and swimming in pools at Ohau Point, just north of Kaikoura.  

With two layers of fur, the seals are normally dark grey/brown, but when wet they look almost black (see extras).
