Notice of Closure!

I arrived at school to post today which is exceptionally rare. I'd sent a postcard to a girl in my class who has worked particularly hard over lockdown and she has sent one back...a really lovely touch. However, included in the envelope was this poem written by her Dad. He's been humourous throughout via email communication but this is the best by far!

Parents Evening day two complete and now we've a weekend on our hands. Yippee!!

As I waved goodbye to the joint Class 1 and 2 bubble this evening, it felt great to know on Monday all the children will be back and the classroom filled with just my class. Children ultimately want the same things as we do; to laugh, to be challenged, to be entertained and to experience new things. Back in the classroom, hopefully, those things can be ticked off...at least in part!
