I thought I hadn’t taken any pictures today , then spotted this one from this morning. A thorn found its way deep into my foot last weekend . Biological processes have gradually brought it near enough to the surface for me to feel the pain and also get it out . My mum always used this method when we got splinters in our hands . She would sterilise a needle with a match and then gently peel the wafer thin layers of skin away until the splinter could be squeezed out . So, the thorn has now been evicted from my foot .
