So what have I done today?

1) Took eggs to Daughter 2. Received an alcoholic thank you for a previous kindness.

2) Drove to Swaffham to buy more chicken food. Also more dog treats. On this journey we passed the 2000 mile mark on the car that we have owned for the last 5 months+. Another lockdown bonus

3) Drove to Downham Market garden centre. We visited a couple of more local ones recently and they were very disappointing, lots of open spaces, not many plants. Todays one was far better, spent a good hour just mooching. They had a very good offer on polyanthus that will look good in one of the new beds and as todays blip.

4) Returned home and sorted out the chickens. There were the usual four eggs but additionally two blue ones. These come from Floppsy, the bad girl that is being held in segregation in the hen tent. She has not laid since last September so they were a surprise.

5) Watched episode 1 series 7 of Death in Paradise. Never seen this before but started viewing in lock down 2, it looks as if we have now seen more than 60 episodes. It is not outstanding TV, in reality it is very silly but its somewhere to escape to for an hour or so. There have been a lot of famous actors appearing in individual episodes, its probably a nice gig for them. One episode featured a very large semi dormant volcano the towered over the island. This has not been seen before or since that episode. The island seems like a nice place to visit, beautiful scenery, stunning accommodation, friendly people and absolutely no crime, if you ignore the murder in each episode.

End of todays report
