Rushing water

The Potomac River was higher than I'd ever seen it after recent rains and snowmelt. The water below the falls is normally a lot calmer.

I climbed down the rocks to get this photo. I should go down there with my ND filter and tripod sometime. After it warms up. It was cold today (40F; 4C).
