On the home stretch

We had an early trip to Dalby to run a 5km over the Park Run course. Not a soul on the route and Richard was pleased with his time. It definitely was the best part of the day. The highlights were:
1. The raindrops sparkling in the sun. 
2. A pair of pheasants perched at the entrance which did not linger for a photo. 
3. A heron rising up as I was on the home stretch.
Well worth making the effort to get out.

Made a start on tidying up the yard and repotting some plants. A bit more work required to get it up to scratch. But a bit too cold to stay out for too long.
