The dropped stitch

on the farm

L was getting a bit edgy waiting for an appointment with the nurse, so we went for a drive round the South Parish.

I headed for a particular farm which has a wonderful collections of old, scraped vehicles and pieces of machinery. We cruised slowly past trying to identify items in the piles of twisted, rusting metal.
It rather reminded me of trips round the Highland Safari Park in years gone by - a slow drive through, seeing what you can spot.

My blip is of a mystery structure, plus a small part of a very dramatic sea of mud - another feature of this farm tour.

We did look at the wider view too - today the hills of Sutherland could be seen on the horizon. That's always good to see.
