Hooked

I spotted an offer for another crochet kit so even though I’ve got only 8” up the back of #2 daughter’s cotton coat, I succumbed. The colours are quite subdued for me but they look springlike.

It’s been another cold, grey day with little snow flurries. There’s still bits of snow on the hills opposite so it may we’ll be “waiting for more” as my mum used to portend.

Mr C did a bit of weeding while I made a tea loaf and knitted while listened to “You’re Dead to Me” on BBC Sounds. A historian chats to an expert on a topic - eg the Spartans or LBGQT History - and a comedian has input. It’s jokey and sometimes the comedians are too much into themselves but it’s interesting with snippets of offbeat information too.
